This service provides an integrated expert assessment of the proffered H-1B position and the beneficiary’s foreign academic qualifications.
 
The Specialty Occupation Position Evaluation focuses on the actual duties and responsibilities of the proffered position, including their complexity, specialized knowledge requirements, level of responsibility, and occupational context. The expert provides an independent professional opinion as to whether the nature of the duties requires the theoretical and practical application of specialized knowledge and a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in the field specified by the employer. The analysis may be supported by relevant occupational resources, including the Occupational Outlook Handbook (OOH) and O*NET.
 
The Academic Evaluation assesses the beneficiary’s foreign educational credentials and determines their equivalent U.S. degree and academic level. The evaluation is considered in conjunction with the position analysis to determine whether the beneficiary’s academic qualifications are sufficient to qualify for the position.
 
The integrated opinion connects the nature and complexity of the position, requiring a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in the employer-identified field, and that the beneficiary qualifies for the position through his/her academics.
