EB-2 NIW Expert Opinion (Economic Impact Analysis of the proposed endeavor)
Carnegie Evaluations’ panel of experts in the petitioner’s specialty can provide an objective, evidence-based analysis of the potential economic impact of the proposed endeavor. An Economic Impact Analysis (EIA) examines the anticipated economic effects of the petitioner’s proposed endeavor, with particular emphasis on the endeavor’s specific and measurable contributions to the U.S. economy. Where supported by the evidence, the analysis may address the endeavor’s potential to create or support jobs, generate economic activity, increase productivity, attract investment, expand business activity, contribute to industry growth, or produce other positive economic effects.
The analysis may consider the direct, indirect, and induced economic effects associated with the proposed endeavor, using relevant industry research, economic data, and documentary evidence to provide objective context for the expert’s conclusions. Rather than relying solely on the general economic importance of the petitioner’s occupation or field, the opinion focuses on how the particular proposed endeavor is expected to benefit the United States.
